The Sidetrack Bar and Grill in Ypsilanti

The Sidetrack Bar and Grill has been around since the 1800s and it was started across from the railroad tracks in Ypsilanti. Because Amtrak doesn't stop anymore, you have to pick up a ticket to Chicago in Ann Arbor. At #19 of the top twenty burgers in the U.S., the famous burger is 1/3 of a pound of pure pleasure. Because the atmosphere of this old building is so enticing, it can occasionally be difficult to focus on the food. Because the food is so good, there are usually a lot of people there.

There is an inscription outside the building that is a quote by Ben Franklin. With 20 feet high ceilings and exposed brick interior walls, it appears that the building has been rolled back in time to the days of its creation. The Sidetrack Bar and Grill has stood the test of time and also features outside tables for the summer.

The Sidetrack Bar and Grill is a great place that has an Old World charm, as well as a great burger. Even though Amtrack doesn't stop there anymore, the Sidetrack will remain a staple for Ypsilanti. Because of having one of the top rated burgers and its trademark 1800s charm, the Sidetrack Bar and Grill will remain on the map regardless of Amtrack. With tons of free parking and a really good happy hour, the Sidetrack Bar and Grill will most likely be here for another 100 years.
